This was an interesting website that agreed to post information about Windmill Point aimed especially at Book Clubs. Litlovers offered a brief description of the novel, my biography, reprinted some of the other reviews, included one of their own reviews, and added in a nice collection of thoughtful discussion questions. Really like how it turned out on the page. Here's what the said about Windmill Point:
"Jim Stempel masterfully sets the stage for one of the most critical periods of the Civil War, contrasting the conversations of decision-making generals with chilling accounts of how ordinary soldiers of both armies fared in the mud, the thunder and the bloody fighting on the field of battle. The result is a stunning achievement."
